Coach Campa is a 1983 graduate of Newton High School and continued his education and athletic career at Butler County Community College, graduating in 1985. He played two years of collegiate baseball at Butler County before transferring to Kansas Newman College, where he competed from 1985 to 1987.
Coach Campa brings more than three decades of coaching experience to the baseball program. His background includes five years at the junior college level at Allen County Community College, along with over 29 years of coaching at the high school level as both an assistant and head baseball coach. Throughout his career, he has been committed to player development, program building, and mentoring student-athletes on and off the field.
His coaching excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including KABC Coach of the Year awards in 2005 and 2007, Kansas Coach of the Year in 2013, and Wichita Eagle All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2009.
Coach Campa takes great pride in having coached numerous players who have gone on to compete at the NCAA and professional levels.
He is married to Julie Campa and has four children: Tessa Spencer, Trey Brown, Roman Campa, and Jillian Campa. Outside of baseball, he enjoys time with his family, including their four dogs—Willa, Rosie, Peanut, and Humphrey—and their cat, Luna.
Cary Dinkel is a 1986 graduate of Hays High School and continued his education at Neosho County Community College. As a student-athlete, he earned two varsity letters in baseball at the high school level and was named Cen-Ark League First Team Catcher. He played one year of collegiate baseball and spent two summers competing with the Hays Larks.
Coach Dinkel brings more than two decades of coaching experience at the middle school, high school, and collegiate summer levels. His high school baseball coaching career includes serving as an assistant coach at Andale High School (2002–2004), Goddard High School (2005–2010), and Eisenhower High School (2011–2015), before becoming Head Baseball Coach at Eisenhower High School (2016–2019). He later served as an assistant coach at Maize High School (2025) and returned to Eisenhower High School as an assistant coach in 2026.
In addition to high school baseball, Coach Dinkel has coached summer collegiate baseball with the Wichita Twins (2002–2003) and Wichita Lumberjacks (2018), as well as summer collegiate fastpitch softball in the Sunflower League (2022). He also coached middle school and high school football from 2005 to 2016.
Coach Dinkel has been an active Westurban Baseball Board Member since 2008, contributing to the growth and development of baseball in the region.
He and his wife, Jenni, have one son, Dalton, and two dogs, Lenny and Betty.
Jacob Richardson is a proud alumnus of Eisenhower High School and currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Tigers Baseball program. A standout multi-sport athlete during his time at Eisenhower, Coach Richardson was a key contributor to both the Tiger football and baseball teams. On the diamond, he was recognized as one of the top players in Kansas Division 5A, particularly noted for his speed and base-running.
Following his graduation in 2013, Jacob continued his athletic career at the collegiate level. He first played for Barton Community College, where he served as a reliable outfielder for the Cougars. He then transferred to the University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK), where he earned his degree in Business Administration while starting in the outfield for the Lopers.
Coach Richardson brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Goddard community. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Tigers, focusing on developing the same work ethic and competitive spirit that defined his own time in the blue and silver.
Along with his coaching duties, Coach Richardson is a business teacher at Valley Center Middle School.
He and his wife, Dallas, have two sons, Rooks and Roman.
Coach Persinger is a 2001 graduate of Sedan High School, where he began building a strong foundation in athletics and leadership. Following graduation, he continued his baseball career at Briar Cliff University in 2002 before transferring to Pittsburg State University. He completed his teaching degree and graduated in the spring of 2005.
While student teaching, Coach Persinger began his coaching career as an assistant baseball coach at Caney Valley High School in 2005. He expanded his coaching experience by serving as a middle school basketball coach at Clearwater Middle School from 2005 to 2006 and as an assistant softball coach at Clearwater High School from 2005 to 2008. During this same period, he also worked as an assistant basketball coach at Clearwater High School from 2006 to 2007.
Coach Persinger later returned to Caney Valley High School, where he served as an assistant coach in football from 2008 to 2010, basketball from 2008 to 2011, and baseball in 2009. In 2011, he began teaching at Eisenhower High School, marking the start of a long and dedicated tenure within the Eisenhower program. He coached Eisenhower Middle School football from 2011 to 2022 and has served as an assistant basketball coach at Eisenhower High School from 2011 to 2025. He also coached as an assistant baseball coach at Eisenhower High School from 2016 to 2017 and returned to that role in 2025, where he currently remains on staff.
In addition to his middle school and high school coaching roles, Coach Persinger has coached numerous youth basketball, softball, and baseball teams. He is currently the head coach of the Pleasant Valley Middle School girls basketball program and has worked for USD 259 since 2022.
Coach Persinger is married to his wife, Stacie, and they have two children, Carter and Alexis. He takes great pride in supporting the development, character, and success of his student-athletes both on and off the court.
