Personal Biography
As an individual, I enjoy a rich life outside of the classroom! My husband and I have five wonderful children. By the grace of God, three have graduated college, one is currently in college, and our baby boy is a sophomore in high school. I have two beautiful granddaughters who I absolutely adore!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family...although free time is limited! Our children and grandchildren keep us busy and we enjoy being involved in the community.
My name is Deanna Brooks and I would like to welcome your child to a wonderful exciting science class. Prior to coming to Valdosta Middle School, I taught in Brooks County as a Middle Grades and High School math teacher. Before becoming a teacher, I was in the military to which I honorably served. I have served my country, my community, and now our children!! I am looking forward to getting to know both you, and your children, this year. Our science class will achieve much this year in terms of academic growth, greater self-confidence, and improved social skills. Good communication between parent, teacher, and student is very important for your child’s academic growth.
Mi nombre es Deanna Brooks y me gustaría dar la bienvenida a su hijo a una clase de Ciencias emocionante maravilloso. Me gradué de Valdosta State University con un B.S en los grados medio y M.Ed en currículo e instrucción en enseñanza lograda. Antes de llegar a la escuela intermedia de Valdosta, enseñé en el Condado de Brooks como profesor de matemáticas grados media y secundaria. Antes de convertirse en un maestro, estaba en las fuerzas armadas a las que he servido honorablemente. He servido a mi país, mi comunidad y ahora nuestros hijos!! Estoy deseando conocer tanto tú y tus hijos, este año.
