NS High School Diploma

– at least 18 credits are required for graduation

(A combination of the 13 required courses set out by the Department of Education plus electives)

• Grade 10 - 8 courses

• Grade 11 - 7 courses

• Grade 12 - 6 courses

O2 Certificate: (Elective courses to fulfill the requirements for O2)

  • Community Based Learning 11

  • 3 – 80 hour Co-ops

O2 courses focus on the development of employability skills.

O2 students develop connections to the workplace, post-secondary institutions and training programs that assist with transitioning to new environments beyond high school.

The program will better prepare students for whatever they choose to pursue after high school.

They will have the skills and experience they need to make an informed decision about the next step in their lives.
