RETURN TO SCHOOL MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 2021 DAY 1 Home of the THUNDER!!! | SAC Community Member Marion Bridge School welcomes our new community member to our SAC. Thank you, Lydia MacKinnon, for generously giving of your time. Mitten Tree COVID has changed a lot of things that we do at our school, both big and small. Traditionally, we have kept a basket of homemade knitted mittens in the office for the use of any child that needs them. Unfortunately, this year we cannot “lend” mittens. When a student takes a pair of mittens, they keep them. Even though the cold weather is just starting, we are going through a lot of mittens. We would like to set up a Mitten Tree We are asking for donations of new mittens (they don’t have to be homemade) that we can have available to any child who needs them - we would accept a few new hats, too! Cold hands can take a pair of warm mitts from the tree and keep them. If you would like to help by donating, please place your mitts in a bag and send them to school. We will leave everything in the bags for several days and then add them to the tree. You can send a donation at any time throughout the winter. Thank you for supporting our Marion Bridge family.
