Ruth Goldbloom Performing Arts Award ($3,000). Application deadline: Apr. 15. 

This award was established in 2013 by The Charles and Mary MacLennan Foundation to honour the memory of Ruth Goldbloom of New Waterford, an avid patron of the arts. It is awarded annually to a deserving individual or group, with roots in industrial Cape Breton, wishing to pursue advanced study or a special project in music, drama or dance.
