North Shore Community College (Early College Programs)
Motivated high school and home school students don’t have to wait to begin their college experience. The Early College Program at North Shore Community College allows qualified high school and home-schooled students to earn college credit while completing high school graduation requirements in a variety of ways.
The Van Loan School at Endicott College offers a first-year
program designed specifically for recent high school graduates
looking for extra support or a smaller community setting. Students will experience college life through social events, academic advising, and all that the Beverly campus has to offer. Once students complete an associate degree in business or integrated studies, they may decide to earn a bachelor’s degree by continuing at the Van Loan School or transferring to the Endicott full-time program.
Gloucester Biotechnology Academy
GMGI has launched a vibrant science learning environment, with Gloucester Biotechnology Academy as the program’s core. Located at 55 Blackburn Center, the Academy is focused on training local high school graduates, ages 18-26, for jobs as biotech lab technicians through workforce training and paid internships. In preparation for their internships, students spend two semesters in the Academy’s state-of-the-art lab learning environment, studying a proprietary curriculum developed by the Academy’s leadership.
