EXCEL Curriculum
The purpose of EXCEL is to enrich the grade level curriculum through content and problem-solving.

The EXCEL curriculum is taught by the PACE Resource Teachers to identified students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. Identification occurs throughout the previous year and is based on the components of problem-solving, performance tasks, and common assessments/tasks including standardized testing.

The EXCEL Units of Study integrate mathematics and other disciplines. There are usually two-three units per grade depending upon the individual groups of students. The units include problem-solving, strategy games, and critical thinking activities.
