All school related events, including athletics, are canceled or will be held online . During this time, buildings will be locked and inaccessible to the public. Students will be engaged in e-Learning during the school building closure. We will continue to monitor the coronavirus situation and will keep you informed. Please click below for more information.

Kindergarten Registration

Any child who will be five years of age on or before January 1, 2021 and meets all residency requirements is eligible to begin kindergarten at the start of the 2020-2021 school year.

Please complete the online pre-registration for your kindergarten student as soon as possible. After pre-registering students online, parents/guardians will be prompted to schedule a brief session with our registrar at the central office. Families will need to bring the necessary documents for the registrar to scan.

Visit the Kindergarten Registration website for more information.

Kindergarten Orientation

Please visit our district's Kindergarten Orientation webpage to learn all about the Kindergarten year! Our Hopewell Kindergarten Welcome page also has videos for parents and students.

Note: Hopewell's Kindergarten Visitation Day for the Spring of 2020 is currently postponed. We hope that there may be an opportunity to reschedule this important school event later in the spring or summer. We will reach out to parents of incoming kindergarten students when, and if, kindergarten visitation is rescheduled.

Summer Learning

We encourage students to continue learning and growing during the summer months. We are fortunate that this summer all students entering grades 1–12 will have a school iPad at home. We have developed a Summer Learning website to provide a range of suggested summer learning activities.

We believe that summer learning comes in many forms. The site includes optional online activities as well as suggested activities that are decidedly “off-line.”

Hopewell PTO

Kindness Rocks at Hopewell!

The Hopewell Kindness Rocks Garden was recently spotlighted on the Better CT television program. Please click here to view the inspiring video. We are so proud of our children and what this community is doing to cultivate kindness in our school!
