About Me:

My name is Lori Long and I am a Special Education teacher at Greater Johnstown High School. I grew up in Portage and graduated in 1989. I graduated from Saint Francis University with a degree in Elementary Education/Special Education and received my Master's degree The 2020-2021 school year will be my eighth year offering Special Education services. I am primarily the 8th grade learning support teacher. I offer Itinerant Support Services which means I will be stopping into the ELA and Math rooms to provide support for students identified as needing special education services but also will help any student that needs it! I am the school leader in The Challenge Program which offers students monetary incentives for attendance, academic success, academic improvement, STEM, and community service. I may not have graduated from Greater Johnstown High School but I am TROJAN PROUD!!!
