Social Studies is integrated with Language Arts, while addressing various Common Core standards. Students will learn major events that shaped our nation’s history, while employing the 5 step writing process (prewriting, rough draft, revising, editing, publishing), to effectively write informative, narrative, and persuasive essays related to the Social Studies topic being taught.
