About Me

I have been a teacher with the Greater Johnstown School District since the fall of 2007. I am a 1991 Greater Johnstown High School graduate and received my Bachelor's degree in Education in 2006 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Also, in the fall of 2011, I received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Clarion University. Before starting my teaching career here at Greater Johnstown High School, I was a Camtran bus driver from 2000 to 2007.

My wife's name is Maribeth (Conemaugh Township graduate) and we have two daughters together. Miranda, our oldest daughter, is a 2019 graduate of JHS and currently attends Penn State University. Delanie, our youngest, attends Ferndale Area. Most of my time away from school is spent with my family. I am an active member in my community serving as Assistant Fire Chief of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, where I have obtained life member status.

I am an active PIAA soccer and basketball official. I have probably seen many of you on the pitch or on the court.

Also, I am proud of the Trojan Pride within my family! My three older brothers graduated from JHS. Both of my parents are proud Trojans. Plus, all of my father's seven brothers and sisters and my mother's six brothers and sisters are Trojan graduates!
