My name is Gena Myers and I am proud to say I grew up in Johnstown. I graduated from Bishop McCort in 2009 and continued my education at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown earning a degree in Earth and Space Science. I continued my education at St. Francis University achieving my Masters in Education.

I have had the opportunity to be working in the Greater Johnstown School District now for the past six years. I am the Head Varsity Girls Soccer coach as well as Earth and Environmental Science and Astronomy Teacher for grades 10-12. I plan to bring my knowledge of science and experiences attained through coaching to my classroom to bring about the best experiences possible for our students. I am excited about the 2021-2022 school year and hope to instill a love of science to all students!
