I have been with the Greater Johnstown School District since completion of my student-teaching in the fall of 1989. I received my certification in Elementary Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and my Master's in Reading and Reading Specialist certification from the Indiana University of PA. During my time with the Greater Johnstown School District, I have had the privledge to be trained in Reading Recovery through Shippensburg University and worked as a Reading Recovery teacher. Additionally, the district sent me to train at the IU8 to earn my English as a Second Language Certification. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and crafting.
