Monthly General Meetings

Our monthly general meetings are informative evenings, held on the 4th Thursday of the month from February to November with either a guest speaker or one or more members presenting a subject of interest to family historians.

During the colder months of the year we move our Thursday evening meetings to Saturday afternoons.

Members - Free; visitors a very welcome - $2 donation

Saturday Morning Workshops

On the 1st Saturday of each month (March to November) we run morning workshops from 10am  until 12noon, on various topics of interest to family historians.  These workshops are more intimate than our monthly general meetings (often limited to 12 participants) and are usually 'hands on'.

Research Assistance

GGG Volunteers are in attendance in the Family History Room on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm and Thursday afternoons between 2pm and 5pm (except for late December and all of January)  to assist members and visitors with their family history research and act as guides for our resource collection.
