PowerSchool

PowerSchool is the student information system used by the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District. It is a web-based application that allows parents and students to log into a secure account from home, school or work; access real-time assignments, grades, attendance, lunch transactions, email teachers, and more. The PowerSchool web address is https://getschools.powerschool.com/public/. There is also a link at the top of the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District website (http://www.getsd.org).

PARENT ACCESS:

To access Powerschool, parents must create a Single Sign On account to login to PowerSchool. Once the account is created, it is used to login for the current and subsequent school years. This login will NOT change unless the parent makes a change to it.

Each fall, parents receive a letter from their child's school listing an ID and a password. These IDs and passwords are for linking your child to your Single Sign On account. Refer to the documents below for detailed information about creating a parent account:

You can view a brief video showing how to setup a parent account or use the PowerSchool Parent SSO Tutorial document listed below for guidance.

STUDENT ACCESS:

Middle and High School students are provided with PowerSchool student login information in the fall or as requested in the school office of high school guidance office. This login is different from the parent login.

Parents accounts can view multiple student accounts, can email teachers, and view teacher comments.

Mobile Apps for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices are available for students and parents. Follow this link for more information: PowerSchool Parent and Student Resource Center. Please note that due to customizations, Lunch balances and Fee balances are only available using the web portal, not the mobile app.

If you have problems logging in to PowerSchool, contact Allene Horton (608) 582-2291 ext 1640 or your building secretary for assistance.
