The "findcrs" web service provides meta data about a transform.
A typical URL is: http://myserver.mycompany.com:8080/INTGeoServer/json/findcrs?json={"keyword":"Texas South Central", includeMetaData="true"}
The following parameters are available:
keyword: the value which will be searched for. All CRS in the system which contain the entire keyword within their code or name will be returned. If no keyword is specified, all available CRS for the given displayMode will be returned. This is an optional parameter. The following screenshot shows this functionality in INTViewer.
displayMode: limits the list of CRS that will be searched. Valid values are integers, where IJ corresponds to 1, XY corresponds to 2, lat-long corresponds to 3, and unknown corresponds to -1. This is an optional parameter.
includeMetaData: if true, the meta data will be returned along with each CRS. The default value is false. This is an optional parameter. When false, only the code, name and deprecated attributes are included.
includeWkt: if true, the WKT string will be returned along with each CRS The default value is false. This is an optional parameter.
Here is an example response. This response has been formatted to improve readability.

The numberOfMatches entry is the number of CRS that match the request.
The matches entry is an array of all matching CRS.
The crsCode entry is the code of the CRS that was found.
The crsName entry is the name of the CRS.
The deprecated entry is true if this CRS has been deprecated for any number of reasons. It can be useful to examine deprecated CRS to see what changes have been made on the fixed version.
The scope entry gives information about the CRS and how it is used. For example, if it is used by GPS satellites, or if it was used for a geodetic survey. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The remarks entry shows any additional remarks about the CRS. Usually this is blank, however it can contain information such as the company that created it, the reason for creating it, etc. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The areaOfUse entry is a short description describing where the CRS is. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The crsType entry is what kind of CRS this is. The values can be: any, projected, geographic, vertical, local, or composite. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The displayMode entry is the display mode that is used for the CRS type. The values are integers, where IJ corresponds to 1, XY corresponds to 2, lat-long corresponds to 3, and unknown corresponds to -1. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The areaOfUseBBox entry contains the following four entries which define the area of use in latitude and longitude values. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The northLat entry is the northern latitude for the area of use. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The southLat entry is the southern latitude for the area of use. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The westLon entry is the western longitude for the area of use. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The eastLon entry is the eastern longitude for the area of use. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The hasAreaOfUse entry always returns false. This attribute is reserved for future versions of INTGeoServer. This information is only present if the includeMetaData parameter is true.
The wkt entry is the well known text representation of the CRS. More information can be found here. This information is only present if the includeWkt parameter is true.
