I currently serve as a Professor of Human Development & Family Science and Director of the Undergraduate Research Program for the School of Human Ecology at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, where I started in 2003. I teach two of the introductory courses in our Human Development & Family Science program--by my request--and the capstone three-semester interdisciplinary Honors course sequence for the School of Human Ecology. My scholarly expertise is in the areas of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning [SoTL], and Family Violence.
In my personal time, I enjoy cooking and gardening with my family.
