Welcome to the Landge Lab, we are interested in two important sub disciplines of chemistry.

Our group deals in the development of biologically active, small heterocyclic compounds using greener methods (microwaves irradiation, sonication, and solid acid catalysts) to provide easy access to desired applications.

Our team implement elaborate visual analogies in organic chemistry courses and engage students with interactive teaching aids to understand the complex concepts in chemistry.

We also work with interdisciplinary teams and projects dealing with synthesis of functionalized solid acid catalysts and nanoparticles.

Current projects include working with the Engineering, Math, Education, Public Health departments.

For detailed information on various projects check the "RESEARCH" tab.

Congratulations to the team (Jack Philp, Aikohi Ugboya, Isaac Graves, Emmanuel Fasusi, Kamari Jordan, Karelle Aiken, Vinoth Sittaramane, Shainaz Landge) for publishing in Medicinal Chemistry Research, 2024.

Congratulations Mr. Asher Pence for your PIN research internship, 2024.

Dr. Landge is grateful for the College of Science and Mathematics  (COSM) - Excellence in Research Award - 2023
