Rules on Tournament Day:
No calculators, electronic devices, notes, or other aids of any kind may be used.
Students taking the Middle School Written Exam are allowed 60 minutes to complete the exam.
Students taking the Junior Varsity or Varsity Written Exam are allowed 90 minutes to complete the exam.
Geometric figures are not necessarily drawn to scale.
The individual written exam score is determined by the formula, Score = 40 + 4X – Y, where
X = number of problems answered correctly, and
Y = number of problems answered incorrectly.
There is no penalty for problems left unanswered.
