Kvitka Cisyk - a gift from God: Songs of Ukraine.

Books are worth reading

Teaching: a link to courses.

Research: My scientific interest is in Harmonic and Computation Analysis, Ergodic Theory, Boundary Behavior of Solutions of Elliptic PDE and Analytic Functions, Direct and Converse Theorems of Constructive Approximation Theory, Metric Number Theory, Nonlinear Dynamics and the Bellman Functions Method (an excellent introduction in Bellman Function Theory by Vasily Vasyunin can be found here )

I am a member of the Harmonic Analysis and Partial Differential Equations group (HAPDE) at Chalmers University, Goeteborg.

I was a co-organizer of The International Conference on Approximation and Potential Theory,  Sept 22-25 2023, Savannah GA

I was a co-organizer of The International Conference in Approximation Theory, May 8-11 2017, Savannah GA

I was a co-organizer of several sessions on 2011 AMS Spring Southeastern Section Meeting, Georgia Southern University, March 12-13, 2011.

I was a co-organizer of the International Conference on q-Series, Partitions and Special Functions, Georgia Southern University, March 14-16, 2011.

I was a co-organizer of the International Conference on Harmonic Analysis and Ergodic Theory , DePaul University, December 2-4, 2005. The proceedings of the conference is published in "Topics in Harmonic Analysis and Ergodic Theory" , CONM/444

"Finding cycles in nonlinear autonomous discrete dynamical systems". Dedicated to Alexey Solyanik. With D.Dmitrishin, A.Khamitova and M.Tohaneanu.

Not a recent preprint:  On certain classes of maximal and multiplier operators,  Warsaw University, 1987.

This preprint was trimmed and converted to the article "On a problem of M. de Guzmán on Fourier multipliers of polygonal domains", Siberian Math. J. 36 (1995), no. 6, 1210--1216, and is cited there as [3]. Mistakingly it was specified "In Russian". The main conclusion of the preprint - a discovery of dichotomous in L^p boundedness of directional maximal operators - is proven there for the basic case of regular directions, and was generalized in M. Bateman "Kakeya sets and directional maximal operators in the plane", Duke Math. J. 147 (2009), no. 1, 55–77
