Directions from Rosslyn to Med-Dent C-104 (3900 Reservoir Rd.):

Walking directions: From either the Hyatt Centric (N. Walsh Street to Ft. Myer Drive) or the Key Bridge Marriott (Ft. Myer Dr.), proceed down the hill to the Francis Scott Key bridge. Be sure to cross the bridge on the left hand side (against the direction of traffic flow). Once across the bridge, go straight across M-street/Canal road at the traffic light and walk up the hill with the cobblestone road (35th St.). Continue straight on 35th St. for three blocks and turn left onto ) St. Continue three blocks until you hit the main gate of Georgetown at 37th and O Sts. Go through the main gate and take the diagonal path to your right. Pass through a large brick square (called red square) and proceed up the stairs. Continue straight, with the Reiss Science building on your left until you reach a street (Tondorf Rd.) with a crosswalk. Proceed across the crosswalk to cross Tondorf Rd. and go down the perpendicular street walking with the parking garage to your left and part of the hospital to your right. Continue straight until you see the Lombardi Cancer center on your right. Keep walking straight on this path through the small garden towards the helipad. It will open up to another street with a set of outdoor stairs on the right. Go up the stairs and turn past the building on your right. Straight ahead of you, after turning right, will be the Med-Dent building (older looking large brick building). Enter the front from the right hand side, and the conference room is diagonally across the lobby down the hallway in the rear of the foyer. Plan on 30-35 minutes walking for the trip.

Walking directions from the southwest quadrangle parking garage: Take an elevator all the way up to the exit of the southwest quadrangle garage and proceed in a Northerly direction to North Rd. Turn left and then turn right onto West Rd. Walk up the hill and you will come to the Lombardi Cancer center. Turn left down the path and follow the directions above. This is a 10-15 minute walk from the garage.

Bus directions from Rosslyn: From your hotel, make your way to 19th St. and N. Moore St. The Georgetown University bus (called the GUTS bus) has a stop there. Take the bus onto campus. When it stops at the bus depot, you can walk past the bus stops to find a smaller "open-air" minibus which will take you up the hill to the Lombardi Cancer Center. Then follow the directions above to get to the conference room. Or, walk straight along Library walk and turn left onto West Rd. Go up the hill and you will hit the Lombardi Cancer Center at the end. Then follow the directions above. The bus will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic to get to the bus depot. Then it is a 15 minute walk to the conference room.

Note that the current weather forecast is for rain Monday morning. In this case, we highly recommend taking the bus over, as crossing the bridge will likely get you soaked as the winds tend to force a lot of rain onto you as you cross the bridge.

Directions to the Hyatt Centric (1325 Wilson Blvd.): From Georgetown, you need to reverse the directions given above. From the Marriott, it is about 4 blocks away up the hill. If driving, the Hyatt has a parking garage. The address is 1325 Wilson Blvd. The metro is just a few blocks away as well.

Georgetown University is most easily accessible from one of the three area airports (Reagan National, DCA; Washington Dulles, IAD; and Baltimore-Washington, BWI). The easiest way to get here from the airport is via taxicab. The cost is approximately $30 from DCA, $60 from IAD and $100 from BWI. Other options like supershuttle are available. From DCA one can take the metro to Rosslyn and the hotel is a 5 minute walk away. From IAD, one can take a bus to the West Falls Church metro and then metro in to Rosslyn as well. From BWI, there is a MARC train plus metro option to get to Rosslyn too.

Note that if you need to add one or two days to your reservation at the Marriott (before or after), please contact Stephanie Cho at stephanie.s.cho@marriott.com who will assist you. The hotels are 25-30 minute walks to campus over the Key Bridge. The walk is quite pleasant if the weather is nice. Otherwise, the university runs a bus service from the Rosslyn metro which is a few blocks away. Be careful crossing the streets during rush hour! Washington drivers are not known to always stop.
