For families who need personalized help completing their FAFSA, MEFA is holding a virtual FAFSA Festival. Families will be paired with an expert who can answer their questions and provide assistance completing the application. It’s completely free, and attendees can arrive any time during the two-hour block.

Donna Connolly from MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority) will present Financial Aid 101 in the high school black box auditorium. Learn more about the different types of financial aid (grants, scholarships, loans) and the financial aid applications (FAFSA, CSS Profile) as your students prepare for college.

Financial aid updates
MEFA’s Financial Aid 101 webinar series presentation provides a helpful overview of the entire financial aid process, and includes information on financial aid applications and eligibility, types of financial aid, and how colleges determine the details of financial aid offers. Weekly webinars will continue through mid-December.
National Honors Society After School Tutoring Program
The NHS offers a student volunteer-based tutoring program for those requiring more help in their classes. Usually the sessions are after school and are free of charge. If you are interested in being tutored by an NHS member, students can fill out the form below. Please have the student fill out the form as it should come directly from their school email.
If your child is a student at GDRHS, they may come to the office during school hours to obtain their work permit. If your child does not attend GDRHS, you can make an appointment to go to the Superintendent's Office 978-448-5505.
Please make sure to bring in the completed paperwork (the link is below), and proof of age (birth certificate, or passport, or physical driver’s license (learner’s permits are not acceptable).
