Welcome to English as A Second Language Program!
At OCPES, we are fortunate to have students from many different countries and island nations. Our ESL program is designed to support students who speak a language other than English or who comes from a home where a language other than English is spoken.
Guam Department of Education’s goal is to provide students identified as English Learners with adequate, appropriate, and equitable educational opportunities so that they are able to attain high levels of English proficiency, develop high levels of academic attainment in English, and meet the same challenging academic content and student achievement standards as all children are expected to meet.
