English III is the study of reading, writing, listening, and research skills with a focus on American Literature. The NC Standard Course of study promotes project-based learning and facilitates in-depth study of the material with more rigor.
Mythology develops a cross-cultural perspective on myths, mythologies and folklore from around the world. Explores different theories of the cultural meanings and functions of myth, past and present. Introduces various ways of interpreting and experiencing myth and folklore as texts with oral origins.
Sports Literature consists of an examination of the connection between sport and society from several perspectives through interaction with literature presented by authors from various genres.
