Time is the ongoing sequence of events taking place. The past, present and future. The basic unit of time is the second. There are also minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years. We can measure time using clocks.
Two of the basic skills the students need are:
Counting to 60.
They’ll need to be able to do this to understand minutes.
2. Count in 5’s.
Once they are able to count to 60 and to count in 5’s independently, the students can start working with the clock.
