The IGCSE ICT qualification is an internationally-recognised award that you will study towards during Year 10 and Year 11.
To receive the award, you must sit three exams at the end of Year 11, one written exam and two practical exams. Your performance in these exams will be graded and, if you pass, you will receive a certificate with an A*-G grade to show how well you performed.
The examinations are written and assessed by a British organisation called Cambridge International. To help you know what you will need to learn for their IGCSE exams, Cambridge International publishes a syllabus containing assessment objectives each year. Every exam is different, and you will never fully know what questions or tasks will be on the exam. However, questions and tasks from different exams are often structured in a similar way and are of similar content. Therefore, an excellent way to prepare for your IGCSE ICT exam is to have a go at answering questions and completing tasks from past exam papers.
There is a well-known phrase 'Practice Makes Perfect', and this rings true when it comes to IGCSE ICT exams, so use the links below to try out some questions and tasks from recent CIE IGCSE ICT exams.
