Configure the Site

Navigate to Site Manager > Site Settings > Configure [Sub-Site Name]

Note: If needed you must first select your sub-site from the Select Sub-Site to Manage drop down menu.

Fill in the information requested using this sample data or your own custom information. Press Save Changes when done.

Site name: FW4Dummies

Site Title (for browser title bar): Training Lutheran Church

Description: Training Lutheran Church exists to share the good news of free and complete salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We are located in your town, your state. All are invited to join us for weekly Bible class.

Include events in main calendar: Unchecked

Time offset: -2 = Central, -3 = Eastern

Date format: Your choice

Login prompt: Display link that says ‘Admin Login’

Use main site top menu: Unchecked

Note: For this class we want to be able to create our own top menu. In reality, you may want your top menus to match throughout the site and this is an easy way to accomplish it.

Disable ‘Powered by Finalweb’: Unchecked

Secure pages: Unchecked

Edit the Our Ministries Information

From the sub-site home page, click the Our Ministries top tab. Then click the Edit button.

Add a brief description of your classroom, your personal mission statement or similar information.

Sample text: Training Lutheran Church exists to share the good news of free and complete salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We are located in your town, your state. All are invited to join us for weekly Bible class.

Edit the Contact Us Information

Click the Contact Us top tab. Then click the Edit button.

Fill in the information requested using this sample data or your own custom information. Fill in only the fields which are applicable to your organization. Press Save Changes when done.
