In a few short weeks you can have a completely refreshed website. Join Finalweb owner Brian Shaffer for weekly interactive webinars via Zoom. Learn the toolset for updating your site to current designs and responsive, mobile-friendly display.

All sessions are 1 hour starting at 10 am Central (11 am Eastern, 8 am Pacific). Sessions will be recorded and participants will have anytime access to the video for reference.

A BONUS open Zoom call for questions and coaching will be held each Thursday for 1 hour starting at 10 am Central (11 am Eastern, 8 am Pacific).

  1. JULY 20 - Design Concepts - Look at different design ideas for various types of pages, links and menu options, best practices for web design, site structure, and additional Finalweb features.

  2. JULY 27 - Blogs, Pages & Sub-Sites - Determine which option - blog, page or subsite - is best for your content and learn how to implement each one.

  3. AUGUST 3 - Media Libraries - Explore the types and formats of various media libraries, plus scripture indexing, series and category assignments, importing and synchronizing with YouTube and Vimeo, and importing libraries from Finalweb 1.0.

  4. AUGUST 10 - Forms & Calendar - An in-depth look at forms, possible uses, payment integration, quantity limitations, email notifications, exporting of results, and importing forms from Finalweb 1.0.

  5. AUGUST 17 - Live Streaming - Set up the live stream program and channels, broadcast with a browser or with OBS, archive video, simulcast to Facebook/YouTube, and pricing.

  6. AUGUST 24 - Online Giving & Mobile Apps - Different options for online donations and how to implement them plus a look at the optional mobile app add-on and how to integrate it with website blogs, media libraries, and calendar.

Each webinar will be capped at 20 registrants to ensure Brian Shaffer has adequate time to assist attendees.

The webinars will be recorded and posted in an online archive for others to view. Your participation in the webinars, including any voice and video from your web camera and/or screen sharing, will be included in the recordings and online archive.

What's included in my registration?

Each webinar registrant will receive secure links to the live 1-hour Zoom webinar and the BONUS 1-hour Zoom coaching session, held on Thursday following the webinar. All sessions are led by Finalweb owner Brian Shaffer.

In addition, webinar sessions will be recorded, and registrants will receive the password and link to the archived recording of the webinar so they may replay as often as needed.

Can multiple people from my church and/or school attend the training with just one registration?

Registrants may not share the link provided for accessing the webinars with others. Only one connection to the webinar is allowed per registrant. However, multiple people may view the webinar from the same connection by sharing the registrant's screen.

What if I change my mind and want to switch my à la carte registration to the complete package?

Awesome! We're excited for you to access the entire series. Please contact Sallie Draper in WELS Technology at sallie.draper@wels.net or 414-256-3216 for help with modifying your registration and paying the additional fees associated with the training.

What are the system requirements for participating in the webinars?

All webinar and coaching sessions will be held via Zoom. Please review the Zoom Help Center information regarding system requirements for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
