05-Secure Document Libraries and Web Pages
Scenario: You want to share “member only” files such as meeting minutes via your web site.
Add Secure Documents
Navigate to the Document Downloads Library by clicking the Documents link in the top menu.
Click the Click here to view secured files link at the top of the page.
Click the Add New SECURED Document button and proceed with adding the document as you would in the normal document library.
Assign Document Download Permissions
Navigate to Site Manager > User Accounts > Edit Login Accounts.
Click the Gear \icon > Permissions link to the far right of John Wels name in the list of Login Accounts.
Click the Add Document Download Permissions button.
Select the name of the download library category to which you wish to grant permission from the list.
Verify that the permissions were added. Click Done.
Add Secure Dynamic Pages
To add a new web page, click the Add Web Page button in the left side bar.
Input the following information and press the Submit text changes now button.
Page Title: Secure Dynamic Page
Check this box if you would like ONLY users with accounts to see the page: Checked
The new page will be displayed only for users who are logged into the site. If you add the page to the menu, the menu link will be visible publicly. If non-logged in site visitors click the link they will be prompted to login. If they do not have a login they will not be able to view the page.
