Welcome to North Star Elementary's PE page.
We are going to be embarking on a journey to the National Forests. Please join me in this fun journey!!
As a school we will be working together as a team to get to the different National Parks listed below on our map. You will do this by recording the miles you have completed being outside. I will add up the mileage and as a school we will go to the National Forests. When we make it to our destinations we will have a virtual tour of the National Parks.
Please record the mileage you have done on the form below. You can earn mileage by anything you are doing to be active and healthy outside! So if you and your family go on a hike, a walk, a run, a bike ride, a canoe, a raft trip, or paddle boarding just to name a few count those as miles to help us get to our National Parks.
1 mile of running = 15 minutes
1 mile of biking = 10 minutes
1 mile of anything else = 20 minutes
Do your best and don't worry about being exact on you recording.
.
Total Miles: 3,408
