TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reservations & Payments: Your tour reservation will be confirmed based on booking availability. Receipt of a $250 deposit per person and a signed Registration Form is required to hold your reservation. The balance payment is due 60 days before departure. Certified bank checks are required for reservations and final payments made within 30 days of departure.

Prices: Tour prices are for land packages only. Rates are per person in US dollars and are based on double occupancy in standard grade (run of the house) rooms. Our tour package rates do not include airfare, airport taxes, fuel surcharges and all other taxes related to your airfare. In case of human or computer error, Galilee Travel, Inc. reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay the resulting difference, provided Galilee Travel, Inc. receives a written cancellation within six days of the price difference notification.

Deposits for Tours: Your tour reservation will be confirmed upon receipt from you of a $250 deposit for escorted tours and a $350-$500 for group travel. Deposit payment applies for land packages only. Airline travel will be purchased separately. Your deposit payment must be received in our office within 10 business days to avoid cancellation.

Final Payment: Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Payments made within 21 days of departure must be by certified check.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will only be accepted via a written and signed notification by the customer. Once a payment has been made, cancellation terms will be applied based on the date the written and signed cancellation notice is received in our office. We urge our customers to read our tour cancellation terms on our tour registration form. Most cancellation charges can be avoided by obtaining a travel insurance policy from one of our partner providers. Refunds for flight cancellations will be processed in accordance with airline ticketing and booking conditions and terms and/or airline ticket refund conditions and terms.

Our land tour cancellation policy is as follows:

~ A $100 per person cancellation fee will be applied to any cancellation made up to 90 days or more prior to departure.

~ A $250 per person cancellation fee will be applied to any cancellation made between 89 and 60 days prior to departure.

~ A cancellation fee equaling 50% of the cost of the tour, per person, will be applied between 59 and 31 days prior to departure.

~ A cancellation fee equaling 100% of the cost of the tour, per person will be applied between 30 days to day 1 of departure or on a No Show for any reason whatsoever.

No refund will be paid for unused land services such as: transfers, sightseeing, meals, hotel accommodation, entrance fees, or any other unused service that is listed in the tour program.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Galilee Travel, Inc. strongly recommends the purchase of a comprehensive travel insurance package which covers health, lost luggage, trip cancellation and trip interruption. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any losses or expenses, which you or any member of your party may incur, as a result of failing to secure adequate insurance coverage. Please call us for information about our recommended insurance plan.

Passport and Documentation: Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your entry date to Israel. If you plan to visit other countries as well, please contact the relevant consulate for updated information. Galilee Travel, Inc. is not responsible to provide any travel documents to any destination, including visas. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to confirm with the consulate of each country visited about any necessary travel documentation and/or visas required to enter these countries.

Airlines and Air Tickets: Passengers are responsible to provide Galilee Travel, Inc. with their correct spelled names and information for air ticket reservations. According to current security measures, any name change including minor spelling mistakes and corrections, may require airline reservations to be canceled and rebooked. Galilee Travel, Inc. will not be held responsible for the denial of services by an air carrier due to any name, address or other vital personal information discrepancies. Subsequent name corrections will be subject to an airline rebooking fee. Air reservations are subject to availability at the time of rebooking. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with a tour are subject to penalties per the airline’s rules and regulations. We recommend you obtain seat assignments from the air carrier as soon as possible after your flight is booked. Passengers are responsible to reconfirm their flights and seat selections 72 hours prior to departure for all flights.

Airfare & Ticket Revisions: Passengers are responsible to provide accurate passport names for airline ticket reservations. Galilee Travel, Inc. will not be held responsible for the denial of services by an air carrier due to any name discrepancy, misspelling or inaccuracy. Once tickets are issued any name change or any ticket revisions will be subject to an airline carrier rebooking fee.

Airport & Airline Taxes and Fees: All airline tickets are subject to a variety of foreign and domestic government taxes which include security fees, airport facility charges, customs and immigration fees, inspection fees, fuel surcharges and more. Taxes and fees are subject to change. Airport and airline taxes & fees which appear on the invoice reflect the taxes and fees that are applicable when the original reservation is completed. Passengers are responsible to pay for any changes to taxes and fees that may occur after airline tickets have been issued.

Baggage: Passengers are responsible for their own baggage. Airlines are responsible for checked baggage and passengers should notify the airlines in case of lost, damaged or delayed baggage during flights. If travel insurance was purchased, please contact your insurance company concerning any baggage claims. As regulations within airlines do change periodically, we recommend you contact the airline directly to inquire about baggage allowance and restrictions and any other relevant information. Galilee Travel, Inc. will not be liable for any damages to, or loss of, baggage, personal items, carry-on luggage or any other form of bag belonging to passengers during the duration of the tour (air travel plus land package) or for any excess luggage fees or overweight charges collected by the airlines.

Tour Itineraries: Galilee Travel, Inc. reserves the right to change any itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In any case, Galilee Travel, Inc. will do its best to maintain the content of the tour. If tour services as indicated by the itinerary cannot be supplied or there are changes in the itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Galilee Travel, Inc. we will make our best effort to provide comparable services. Galilee Travel, Inc. will not be responsible in any way for any changes to itineraries that result from circumstances beyond the control of Galilee Travel, Inc.

Gratuities: Tour prices do not include tips for guides, bus drivers, hotel staff, restaurant employees and any other gratuities that are not specifically included in the tour price. Please consult your tour specialist for up-to-date tipping recommendations.

Meals: Meals included in the price of the tour are detailed in the tour itinerary. Galilee Travel, Inc. will not be responsible for providing any meals and/or beverages not specifically included in the tour itinerary. Tour participants are solely responsible for any purchased meals and/or beverages that are not specifically included in the tour itinerary.

Hotel Accommodations: Hotels are booked as detailed in the itinerary. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels that are considered in Israel to be of comparable quality and class. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of these accommodations. All rooms are standard, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room. Special requests such as bed types and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise specified, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management and on “run-of-the house” basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa or folding bed for a third person. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is scheduled.

Not Included: Meals or beverages not specified in the itinerary, all gratuities, airport taxes and fuel surcharges, optional tours, charges for passports, visas, laundry, liquor, excess baggage charges, accident and baggage insurance, telephone or cable charges, private non-group transfer, items of a personal nature and any items or services not specifically listed as included.

Liability Disclaimer: Galilee Travel, Inc. is acting solely as an intermediary agent for travel suppliers providing means of transportation, hotel accommodations and/or all other related travel services being purchased (hereinafter referred to as: “Third Party Providers”). Galilee Travel therefore, shall not be liable or responsible for any injury, illness, loss including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings and/or lost revenues, or damage to any person or property or additional expense involved with travel resulting from acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, diseases, mechanical difficulties, failure of any means of transportation to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transportation or hotel services or any other matter or event over which Galilee Travel has no control; or for any state of quality, hygiene, cuisine, sanitation facilities, cleanliness, telecommunications facilities, methods of conducting business, political stability, emergency medical evacuation, treatment or medical services existing at any travel destination. By embarking upon his/her travel, the passenger voluntarily assumes every and all risks involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The issuance and acceptance of any orders, and/or monies and/or tickets shall constitute consent by the purchaser and/or passenger to the foregoing conditions. All monies and/or orders and/or tickets are also subject to such additional terms and conditions as the Third Party Providers may impose. Finally, Galilee Travel shall not be liable for any funds received from the purchaser and/or passenger and paid to any Third Party Provider which subsequently becomes insolvent or files any bankruptcy or similar proceedings or fails to deliver services. Delays, cancellations and overbooking by participating Third Party Providers may occur on air flights and land reservations. While Galilee Travel will do its utmost to avoid these inconveniences, it shall not be liable or responsible for the acts or omissions of such Third Party Providers. Galilee Travel reserves the right (i) to cancel any tour, substitute hotels and make such alterations in tour itineraries as may be necessary or desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tour; and (ii) to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour. All additional cost, if necessary, shall be the passengers’ responsibility. In addition, Galilee Travel may cancel any tour prior to departure. In such a case, a full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the passengers and/or purchasers of the tour. Galilee Travel is not responsible for any medical condition that may occur prior, during, or after the tour.
