Research Program

About

Our research focuses on identifying effective strategies to prevent or delay cognitive aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, stroke, and other health outcomes in older adults. We are especially interested in understanding the lifecourse determinants of racial, ethnic, and other social inequalities in healthy aging. To address these research questions rigorously, our work emphasizes methods to strengthen causal inference in observational research.
