I am a 2002 graduate of Olmsted Falls High School! After graduation, I went on to the University of Toledo to obtain a Bachelor's of Science of Pharmaceutical Sciences with the intentions of becoming a pharmaceutical sales representative. After a varied sales career(life insurance & uniform services) my resume was built up enough to receive offers in the pharmaceutical field. This led me to reevaluate my career path. Sales was not my passion. After exploring many different options, the only one that made sense to me was returning to school to become a teacher. I wanted to help inspire students and prepare them for the real world. I received a Master's of Education from Ursuline College. At that time I spent a year student teaching at Brooklyn High School and then moved on to my first teaching position at Ravenna High School. After two years at Ravenna I returned to OFHS in 2013.
My husband is also a teacher, at Brooklyn High School, and we have two sons, two chocolate labs and we are very active. We love to travel and have been to the following places
California (Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, San Luis Opisbo, Bakersfield)
Los Vegas, Nevada
Florida (Disney! & Daytona beach)
Boston, Massachusetts
Nashville,Tennessee
South Carolina (Crystal Coast)
Baltimore, Maryland
Minnesota (Mall of America)
Kentucky( Red River Gorge, Mammoth Caves)
Canada (Windsor, Niagra Falls)
Puerto Rico (San Juan, Vieques, Guyama, El Yunque)
Spain (Malaga, Valencia, Gibraltar, Granada, Seville, Marbella, Ronda)

It is my goal to provide every student with the opportunity to succeed and perform their best. I am here to help and work with students to, hopefully, spark interest in the fascinating world of life sciences!
In addition to teaching science courses I am also the Speech and Debate Coach. You can find information about our team by following us on Twitter @OFSpeechDebate
