I have been teaching in Olmsted Falls City Schools since 2011. I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Education and of Miami University with an M.A. in Biology.
In graduate school, I traveled to Baja California, Costa Rica, and Thailand to study community conservation and ecology. I also worked with Lake Erie conservation as part of my program.
I currently live in Lakewood with my two beautiful bengal cats, Malcolm and Nova.
My favorite science topics are evolution and biochemistry which make the combination of teaching chemistry and biology super fun and interesting to me. I look forward to being challenged to think about science in new ways each year!
