Hi there :) My name is Michelle Kenney, and I am grateful to be the science teacher for the 8th grade Gold team this year. The 2025-26 school year will be my ninth year teaching at Olmsted Falls!Ā
I received my Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education from Baldwin Wallace University in 2017. I am certified to teach all subjects 4-6, and Science and ELA for grades 4-9. I also earned my Master's degree in Classroom Technology from Bowling Green State University in December of 2020 (at the height of remote learning! How fitting!)
I believe that science is best learned when sparking curiosity and discovery, and therefore, my class is very hands-on! Students will participate in labs on a mostly weekly basis and participate in thoughtful reflections that follow, becoming stronger readers, writers, critical thinkers, and SCIENTISTS along the way.Ā
Ā I am extremely passionate about teaching and building connections with students and families. Please do not hesitate to reach out!
