Arthur is a scholar of Sustainability. Before Harvard, he attained an MSc in Climate Change from the University of Derby (UK) and first degree in Community Forestry from Makerere University in Uganda. He has a good understanding of international bilateral and multilateral climate frameworks such as Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs), Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), carbon pricing and carbon market based mechanisms.
He has been part of a team from Uganda at international climate discussions. He is an expert in emission reduction calculation for project development in the relevant international frameworks such as the United Nation Framework for Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement.
