Welcome to Second Grade

My name is Lee Gothard and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! We have a great time in "Gothard's Group"!

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Texas and am certified to teach Pre-K through 6th grade. I have been happily married for 28 years and have three children. My oldest son recently graduated from Texas Tech, my second son graduated from TCU and my daughter is in her 4th year at Texas Tech. I love teaching the primary grades because the children are so sweet and eager to soak up new information! We have so much fun and learn so much along the way. We collaborate together, making new friends and encouraging each other in a classroom where we learn from our successes as well as our mistakes.
