Change is usually emotionally taxing and a difficult time. Leading organisational change requires superior and specialist leadership skills. At the same time as leading a peak change your organisation must continue to have a creative spark and bring innovations to the market. This workshop approaches learning how to lead change in a creative & innovative setting. We use Art as the vehicle for creation & innovation and link this to the work place change agenda.
The programme comprises 3 elements:
Pre meeting with all participants to understand their workplace change situations and leadership skills;
A day long workshop where participants go hands-on with Art and explore change leadership skills; and
Individual meetings to support and coach a leader implement their new skills (NB. The number of sessions per participant is by negotiation but usually would be between 1 and 3 individual sessions)
Why use Art?
Artistic endeavours provide a great vehicle for capturing creative and innovative energy. Our workplaces today require leaders to harness the team’s energy to innovate. The use of Art brings together the critical components of creativity, innovation and change.
Who will lead this workshop?
The Art elements of the workshop will be presented by experienced Art teachers and Artists. Participants will leave with a new artistic skills and change leadership skills. Julie will facilitate the workshop drawing on the information she has learnt through the individual meetings with participants and her extensive change management experience.
