Mrs. Volz

Hi! Welcome to 5th Grade! My name is Mrs. Volz and I will be teaching Reading, Writing, and Social Studies for the 2019-2020 school year. This is my 8th year of teaching (all at Taylor). I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in teaching (EC-6) as a second career - and I'm super happy I get to spend my days at Taylor.

My husband, Geno, and I live in McKinney. We have 2 sons, 4 grands, and a sweet dog, Bella. When not at school, I love spending time outdoors, cooking, crafting and with family.

I look forward to an exciting and fun year of learning!
