Hi! My name is Michelle Bunyard and this is my 5th year as a Resource teacher at Sonntag. I have taught Special Education for 13 years and have spent 19 years as an educator. I have 2 grown children both graduates of Frisco HS and Texas A&M. I am "Grammie" to a sweet baby boy named Charlie. In my spare time I love to travel, and spend every summer in Michigan with my family enjoying Lake Michigan and the great outdoors!
My name is Dori Baker, this is my 5th year at Sonntag as a Resource teacher and my 14th year in education. I am married to my husband, Scott and we have two adult children (that's really weird to say, lol). Our son lives in Corpus Christi and is a fishing guide and our daughter will be starting cosmetology school this fall. I am so excited to see all of our students back on campus and look forward to a great year!
Stacey Speer
Resource Teacher
Ms. Speer grew up in Duncanville, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas. This is her tenth year of teaching with eight of them being in Frisco ISD at Sonntag Elementary. Both of her parents are retired teachers and she has two older brothers who live in the Dallas area. Outside of school, Ms Speer LOVES George Strait and his hoping he comes out of retirement to go on the road more often (preferably near Frisco). She also enjoys the outdoors, watching college football, making t-shirts, writing thank you cards for our Veterans taking part in Honor Flights and spending time with family and friends. She is very excited about this school year and to see all the learning that will take place!
My name is Carissa Mixon and I'm excited to be a part of the Sonntag family again!
This school year I will be embarking on my eleventh year as an educator and my first year as a Resource teacher for Sonntag Elementary. My goal as an educator is to meet your child wherever he/she/they is academically and socially to develop strategies that work best to promote success in him/her/them.
On a personal note, I am an Arkansan at heart, as July marked my second year in Texas. I consider myself to be an amazing wife and an even more amazing mother to my five, beautiful children! I love everything glitter and leopard print and I can watch re-runs of The Office for hours!

Hi, I am Amy Henderson-Hoad and I can't believe it, but this is my 22nd year teaching! I have taught in Frisco for 12 years and this is my 10th year at Sonntag. I love working with my Sonntag family.
I have an amazing, blended family! Jon and I have 5 kids that range in age from 16 to 24. Oh, and I can't forget my 3 fur babies, a Goldendoodle, a Labradoodle, and a Labrador.
We only have two of our 5 kids left at home. They keep us busy watching basketball and cheerleading.

This is my eighth year in the Functional Academics classroom at Sonntag and my second year teaching! My husband and I have two sons. Our oldest is at the University of Texas, and our youngest is a sophomore at Heritage High School! We love cheering them on in all their endeavors!

Hello Families!! I am so excited to be starting my 3rd year at Sonntag Elementary. I have worked as a paraprofessional for over 6 years, taking a break to raise my kids, and now back at Sonntag.
My husband, Chad and I have 3 kids, and a big mastiff/hound furr baby named Charlie. My two oldest will be in Middle School in the 6th and 8th grade, and my youngest will be at Sonntag in the 4th grade. All three of them have attended Sonntag, and I could not be more thrilled to be part of the Sonntag family/staff.
During my free time, I am at the baseball field with my 2 boys, or volleyball court with my daughter. I also enjoy camping, and spending time with my friends and family.

Hi there! My name is Erin Lockwood and I am so excited to be your student's speech teacher this year! This is my third year at Sonntag and in the education setting. Prior to my role at Sonntag, I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with my undergraduate and graduate degree in Communication Sciences with a focus on early childhood development. I was born and raised in Frisco and am beyond thrilled to give back to such a great school district. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and loving on my dog, Tank! I am looking forward to a great year with our amazing students!

Hello! I am Mrs. B. and this will be my second year at Sonntag. I have been married for 15 years, have 3 awesome kiddos, and all our time is spent between basketball and ballet. I love watching sports with my boys, playing games with my daughter, and all things Christmas! I am very excited to spend the year to come with your amazing Sonntag students!

Hi, I’m so excited to work with your kiddos and get to know them this year, This is the start of my 7th year as a Paraprofessional in FA at Frisco ISD and I love it! I am married with 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. We love sports the kids play and we go to a lot of ball games! I am looking forward to meeting you all this year!
