Snacks
We have snack time built into our schedule. 4th Graders should bring a healthy snack and water bottle each day. Snacks should NOT require utensils or leave marks on the student's work (ie: yogurts, Cheetos/Takis - they leave orange fingerprints on everything!) Candy is not permitted. Water is the only drink permitted in the classroom. Please send water bottles with a non-leaking, sealed lid.
Visit the Home Access Center to check your student's grades anytime.

MATH: Although math homework doesn't count toward a grade, we encourage families to help us reinforce these previously taught skills at home! Math homework is sent home on Friday. Please practice multiplication facts at home regularly.
SPELLING: Spelling words come home on Fridays and can be found in the latest newsletter. Tests are on Fridays. In a short week, tests will be given on Thursdays.
READING: Although reading homework doesn't count toward a grade, we encourage families to help us reinforce these previously taught skills at home! Reading homework is sent home on Fridays. Please encourage your child to read for 20 minutes every day at home! 4th graders love to be read to and to read to others (parents, siblings, dogs, stuffed animals)! Make reading together fun and comfortable to build your student's fluency and talk about books together to build their comprehension.
