I grew up in Allen then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  I live in Mckinney with my 6 year old son named Casen.  I love to be creative and find new DIY projects to tackle!  I  enjoy being outdoors, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family! 

I joined the Sem First Grade Team in the 2013-2014 school year, making this my 11th year in 1st Grade.    

It is amazing to see how much students grow as learners and how independent they become in 1st Grade.  I love teaching reading and math, but my favorite thing about teaching is the relationships that are formed throughout the year.
