Mrs. Fant
Are y'all ready for an amazing year?! I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Corbell! My name is Mrs. Fant, and this is my 2nd year in 2nd grade!
I was born in Houston, TX, but grew up in Banff, AB, Canada. I went to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada before finally settling in the DFW area in 2009.
I currently live in Little Elm with my husband of 10 years Jon. He teaches Social Studies and coaches at Walker Middle School in Little Elm. We have 3 boys that attend Corbell. Knox and Steele are twins and will be going into 4th Grade this year, and Phoenix will be coming to 2nd. I love getting to have my boys here on campus with me everyday! We also have 3 very cuddly dogs, Fiyero our Boston Terrier, Jefferson, our Blue Heeler/Shepherd mix (even though I think he looks like a lab), and our newest baby Sir Waffleton the IV our 10 month old pug (and pretty much my best friend!).
We had an amazing summer being lazy and doing summer things! Lots of swimming, Hawaiian Falls, concerts and lots of books!
Some of my favorite things to do in my free time is read, work out and educate my husband and kids on all things Taylor Swift! You can find me at the YMCA every morning before school. I also love to go to concerts and musicals, or anywhere I can get some yummy chips and salsa! I am so excited to get to know you this year.. its going to be a great one!!
