Meet Mrs. Roane

Welcome to the Maus Middle School Library. I am Mrs. Roane.  I look forward to working with all of the Maus students and staff to build future leaders.  

As the Maus librarian, I strive to make the school library the place to be.  I encourage all that enter to learn, explore, and grow. The library serves many purposes in the school environment; it is a center for learning and exploration.  Students have access to over 12,000 print books and hundreds of electronic books via the district's electronic databases. In addition to books, the library is a place where students and teachers learn how to utilize a diverse resources to search, obtain, and use reliable information in research. Learning can happen 24/7 with our electronic resources available around the clock.   

The library has  Maker Education Learning items which allow students and staff the opportunity to tinker and  create collaboratively or solo, but most importantly, Maus Maker Education Tools provide the opportunity to positive relationships with others.
