Hello! My name is Claire Molnar and I am excited to be the school counselor at Riddle Elementary. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas and my Masters of Science in Professional School Counseling at Angelo State University. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught at Riddle. I am grateful I get to continue my journey at Riddle Elementary.
My husband and I have lived in Plano for 18 years. We have three amazing children and love taking trips together. One of my favorite past times is cooking. I love trying recipes from all around the world and enjoy exotic cuisines.
My job as a school counselor is to help students be successful at school. I work with teachers, parents, and students to try and reach this goal. I see students in the classroom for guidance lessons, as well as meet with students in small groups throughout the school year. Students can also be seen on an individual basis through a request from a teacher, student, or parent.
I am passionate about Social and Emotional Learning and believe that all students can be successful when given the right tools. One way we achieve this is through our Character Education. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at Riddle!
