Jarrett Gottardy, Head Coach

Coach Gottardy grew up in the hill country north of San Antonio in a little city called Bulverde. He graduated from Smithson Valley HS in 2008. He then went to Texas Tech and graduated in 2014 with a mathematics, kinesiology, and education degree. He is in his 11th year of teaching and 10th year at Lone Star HS where he will be teaching Algebra 2. Coach Gottardy and his wife Lindsey welcomed their first son Miles in May 2020 and their second son Landon in April 2022. Coach Gottardy enjoys traveling, playing with his boys, and working out whenever possible.

Coach Nickerson joins us from Clark Middle School and is a proud Frisco ISD graduate. She brings energy, dedication, and a deep love for the sport to our Ranger Volleyball family, and is excited to help develop our student-athletes both on and off the court.
Makenna Miller, Assistant Coach

Coach Miller joins us from Turner High School in Carrollton. She is passionate about coaching and mentoring student-athletes, and looks forward to bringing her energy and expertise to the Ranger Volleyball program.
Chelsea Dicketts, Freshman Volleyball Coach
New for 2026-27

Coach Dicketts comes to us from V.R. Eaton High School, her alma mater. She graduated from Harding University with a degree in Social Science and Teacher Licensure while competing four years as a collegiate softball player. She serves as Assistant Softball Coach and Freshman Volleyball Coach at Lone Star, bringing tremendous enthusiasm and experience working with student-athletes.
