Frisco ISD Student Services Department trains all counselors and assistant principals regarding the issue of bullying prevention and intervention. We also train all bus drivers and after-school care workers. FISD remains committed to providing the safest possible learning environment for your children at all times.
All counselors will receive additional training for the upcoming school year, with emphasis on working with the student who was bullied and the person accused of the bully behavior. They will receive training on providing group sessions to educate students in the following:
Basics of bullying (what it is/is not, why people bully, effects on others, consequences for bully, case studies)

FISD has programs and training in place for staff and students related to promoting kindness, good character and prevention of bullying.
