Hi! My name is Taylor Gies, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my 11th year teaching in Frisco ISD, and my second year at Mooneyham. 

I grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas. I recently moved to Melissa with my husband, Brett, my daughter, Nora, my son Jax, and our dog, Pip. We spend lots of time cheering for Nora at softball games, hanging out at the park, having movie nights, and working in our garden. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me working out, discovering new spots to explore in our community, or enjoying time with my family and friends.

My goal is to help your child discover the joy of learning and feel a strong sense of belonging in our classroom “family.” I strive to inspire each student to tackle challenges with confidence and believe in their ability to grow beyond what they ever imagined.
