I am so excited to teach this year.  This is my 19th year at Mooneyham and my 20th year in education. I have taught 6th, Kinder, 1st, 3rd, and 2nd.

I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. After my husband received his Master’s in Engineering at Auburn University, we moved to Dallas, Texas. We have 2 sons. Ethan attends UTD in Richardson. He works at a high school in FISD teaching Color Guard for the Band. My oldest son is a police officer in a nearby town.

Outside of school I love to read. I could read all day every day. I love to read on my Kindle.  I have recently started watercolor painting as well. My family is also all SCUBA dive certified. We have gone SCUBA diving in St. John USVI and Key West, Florida. I graduated from Auburn University with my Bachelor’s and Alabama State University with my Master’s Degree.
