Homework Guidelines

Homework in kindergarten is optional and is intended to provide families with simple ways to reinforce the skills students are learning in class. We recommend spending about 10 minutes each day on homework activities.

Your child's daily folder will include a Reading Log. After writing the title of the book they read, your child can color the face that best shows their opinion of the book. This is a fun way for students to reflect on their reading while sharing their thoughts with you.
